Born and raised in British Columbia, I took any and all art classes available. After graduation I went to work in print shops, magazines and newspapers. This is where my love of print started, I began in bindery and worked my way up to graphic designer.
After many years of trying different mediums and creative outlets, I has found my passion in India Inks.
Living in a rural community, with many ranchers, cowboys and the yearly rodeo keeps me supplied with many sources of inspiration. My work captures the essence of the rural west with textures, layering of colours, and bold shadows and depth.
I became a member of the Federation of the Canadian Artists in 2013.
My piece “Belgian Draft Team” won 3rd place in both juried division and also People’s Choice in the 2013 Federation of Canadian Artists Chapter Show. Featured in the BC Beef Magazine in May 2013, I have also shown in the Kamloops Courthouse Gallery, Cowboy Festival and Armour Mountain Art Gallery located in Barriere, my home since 1991.
